Temple B’nai Israel, chartered in 1868, is the oldest Reform congregation in Texas and Galveston and is the oldest extant Jewish community in the State. TBI is housed in a modern building on Avenue O, the Temple’s third home, and includes a full serving kitchen, an endowed adult library with computer/internet availability, a children’s library, a 70 seat chapel, a 250 seat sanctuary, and a social hall that allows up to 750 additional seating. Now is your chance! Every Shabbat Morning Rabbi Kessler will teach his special techniques on learning to read Hebrew.
You will be reading the prayer book in no time.
Let Rabbi know if you are interested or just come to Shabbat services and stay for the class which starts at 12:00 noon.
